Terms and Conditions of Online Sale

(Effective from date of publication and superseding all prior terms)

Printed goods (including graphics, flat panels, and printed clothing): 5 working days

1. Definitions

  • Company means Print Star, of 53–55 Woodhouse Road, North Finchley, London, N12 9ET.
  • Customer / You means any individual or entity placing an order via the Website.
  • Goods means all printed products offered for sale on the Website.
  • Contract means the agreement formed when your order is accepted and payment is successfully processed.
  • Working Day means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in England.
  • VAT means Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate.
  • Website means the Print Star online store.

2. Scope and Acceptance

2.1 These Terms apply to all online orders placed through the Website.

2.2 By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

3. Online Pricing

3.1 All prices displayed on the Website are in GBP (£) and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

3.2 Prices are subject to change at any time without notice but will not affect orders already paid for.

3.3 The price shown at checkout, including VAT and delivery (where applicable), is the final price payable.

3.4 We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase via the Website checkout.

4.2 We do not offer credit accounts or payment on account.

4.3 Orders will not enter production until payment has been successfully received and cleared.

4.4 Accepted payment methods will be displayed at checkout.

5. Order Confirmation & Contract Formation

5.1 Once payment is completed, you will receive an order confirmation email.

5.2 This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order. Acceptance occurs when production begins or when Goods are dispatched, whichever occurs first.

5.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

6. Passing of Title and Risk

6.1 Risk in the Goods passes to you upon delivery.

6.2 Title to the Goods remains with Print Star until payment has been received in full.

7. Products

7.1 All Goods are custom printed and produced based on the information and artwork supplied by you.

7.2 Images and descriptions on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Minor variations may occur.

8. Delivery

8.1 Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

8.2 We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers or events beyond our control.

8.3 International deliveries may be subject to customs duties or taxes, which are the Customer’s responsibility.

9. Quantity Tolerances

9.1 A quantity variation of up to ±5% shall be deemed fulfilment of the order and invoiced accordingly.

10. Claims & Faulty Goods

10.1 Goods must be inspected upon delivery.

10.2 Claims for faulty, damaged, or incorrect Goods must be submitted in writing within 5 working days of receipt.

10.3 Claims submitted outside this timeframe may not be accepted.

10.4 We reserve the right to request photographic evidence before agreeing to a refund or reprint.

11. Refunds & Cancellations

11.1 Due to the custom nature of printed Goods, orders cannot be cancelled once production has started.

11.2 Refunds or reprints will only be offered where Goods are faulty or incorrect.

11.3 Where a reprint is offered, this must be accepted unless there is a valid reason for refusal.

11.4 Refunds, where approved, are processed within 5–7 Working Days.

12. Liability

12.1 Our liability is limited to the value of the Goods supplied.

12.2 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

12.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

13. Samples

13.1 Samples, where provided, must be returned within 14 days unless stated otherwise.

13.2 Unreturned samples may be invoiced.

14. Artwork & Printing

14.1 You are responsible for ensuring artwork is accurate, complete, and print-ready.

14.2 All printing is produced in CMYK unless otherwise stated.

14.3 Once artwork is approved, responsibility for errors passes to the Customer.

14.4 Additional charges apply for artwork amendments after submission.

15. Proofs

15.1 Proofs are not supplied as standard and must be requested at checkout or in writing.

15.2 Colour variations may occur due to materials and finishes.

15.3 Approved proofs are final and authorise production.

16. Orders on Hold

16.1 Orders placed on hold for more than 5 Working Days may incur a storage or administration fee of £25 per day.

17. Force Majeure

17.1 We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

18. Governing Law

18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

19. Complaints

19.1 Complaints must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery.

19.2 Complaints outside this timeframe may not be considered.
